It’s The Little Things

This is the series called “journal entries” for when I experience something I write about in my journal I think others might benefit from reading. This is a continuation of that series.

From my journal – Sunday, Nov. 22, 2020

Had a very late night of engagement. It kept me up past 0200. I wrote this morning needing thought management which I successfully did. Then I did a little blog stuff before attending TC’s Sunday session. That session I enjoyed. It unfolded perfectly. I shared why a Positively Focused Perspective is important. That flowed so easily TC thanked me because he wanted to talk about that but didn’t know how to cue it up.

Before the session I spoke with a client who really wants to soothe his current reality, but is having such a hard time at it. It’s so interesting how much he struggles unnecessarily. He gets the material yet doesn’t feel worthy enough to be the way that will solve all his issues. So cool seeing how what I share gets proven over an over in my life experience and the life of my clients.

After the call I needed me time. So I prepared food — my peanut soup — and popcorn, watched a little Netflix, then took a nap promptly at 1330.

A couple small things I enjoyed this afternoon:

  • Listening to Obama’s interview with Terry Gross
  • Realizing I could refreeze that steak so I could have an entire fridge (and belly) available this week free for Turkey day
  • Receiving and enjoying two client contacts and receiving a new client this week
  • Returning to my ordinary weight with NO EFFORT after a brief period of overeating
  • Relishing the team working with me on Copiosis. They are so capable.

I know appreciating little things, things ordinary consciousness takes for granted, leads to real-izing bigger things I desire.

1616: What wonderful feelings flowing through me right now. Just woke from a nap of three hours. I feel alive rejuvenated and in the peak of life experience. Of course, wonderful dreams accompanied my slumber. Bringing them into wake scape feels equally wonderful.

I love how great I’m feeling. It feels so good. I received inspiration too. A walk feels nice rain or shine. So that’s what I’ll do next. After basking here until I’m satisfied with that 😌.

What is enlightenment, and why should someone try to achieve it?

Positively Focused Q-A

I’ve added yet another running series “Q/A” to my blog. It’s…well…about answering questions I get through the internets and sharing those answers with others as they may help others feel inspired and more connected to the God they are.

What is enlightenment, and why should someone try to achieve it?

Someone shouldn’t try to achieve it.

Enlightenment, contrary to what many think, is not something one “achieves”. It is what one is underneath beliefs masking that state. One doesn’t “achieve” eternal life, one is already eternal. One doesn’t “achieve” being human. One already is human. One doesn’t “try to achieve” enlightenment, one already is.

Enlightenment, by the way is not a steady state. It’s not something that, once achieved, remains in place, like a college degree. You don’t get it and keep it. Enlightenment awareness is constantly expanding because the essence of being constantly expands, just like everything in All That Is.

So once a person reveals to herself her enlightened state in one moment, the next moment she may “lose” it as old beliefs masking the state, reassert themselves.

In a separate example, an enlightened state may happen in one moment, then the person sees something they want, realizes they don’t have it (yet) and in that realization obscures their enlightened state through focused desire for that thing they want.

That is NOT to say desire is bad. The process of birthed desire moving to fulfilled desire is the process by with All That Is becomes more. So desires are extremely good. Losing touch with one’s enlightened state from time to time serves in the same way. But it is possible to be in a state of perpetual enlightenment – I know, this sounds contradictory – where one realizes, while at the same time standing within an unfulfilled desire, their enlightened state.

The enlightened state is nothing extraordinary. It is clarity, awareness and the presence in one’s knowing that one is eternal, invincible and creator of their reality, ongoingly, including ALL their realities, not just this physical one. There is more to it, but this is the basic nature.

It’s worth living from that place. But it’s not something one “achieves”.

I Like Filling My Head With Positivity

Photo by Mor Shani on Unsplash

When I do, I realize a reality matching that. I also open doors through which I discover what humans rarely do while embodied. Dazzling dreams, dazzling angels who all love me, dazzling things I’m up too, all striking my fancy, delicious sights and sounds and experiences, a veritable smorgasbord of wonder and joy.

That shouldn’t be surprising. When I fill my head with positive thoughts, I tune myself so only positive experiences spring from my consciousness. All I experience springs from my consciousness and so with my consciousness full of positive thoughts, shouldn’t my experiences reflect that? And since it is so “as it is on Earth, so in Heaven” my nonphysical awareness tunes to that same orientation.

In this way, living or dying, awake or asleep, life I create matches my focus. I love positive focus because of how it feels and because of what I experience when I’m there.

My life proves what my mentors say over and over:

The thoughts that you think will – wanted or not wanted – eventually become manifestation if your vibrational accord is sufficient enough… And so, you could say, as you’re launching thoughts of appreciation and things that make you feel good, that you’re filling your Vibrational Escrow full of all kinds of things that are going to please you when you get there.

How Can I Contact My Spirit Guides?

Positively Focused Q-A

I’ve this new series “Q/A” to my blog. It’s…well…about answering questions I get through the internets and sharing those answers with others as they may help others feel inspired and more connected to the God they are.

Someone recently asked: How Can I Contact My Spirit Guides? I have such trouble clearing my mind and meditating.

Answer: What’s interesting about your question is, it is what is keeping you from contacting your spirit guides. You see, your guides are constantly communicating with you. At times you hear these messages, but most of the time you don’t, likely because of this question.

In other words, by asking the question, you’re saying in essence “I’m not hearing my spirit guide communicating with me”, when actually, you’re communicating with them all the time. You just don’t experience the communication because you think you’re not receiving it.

The way out is to stop asking the question. Instead, focus on evidence you know that convinces you you have spirit guides.

You do believe you have spirit guides, right? How do you know? Focus on what you know and you will come, in time, as you soothe your question-focus, naturally to the answer-focus, which will include hearing messages from your spirit guides.

It’s not that you need to clear your mind, although you do. But in “trying” to clear your mind, just like wanting to contact your guides, you’re focused on the “trouble”. Focus instead on how it will feel when your mind is clear…and you’ll discover yourself there.

Make sense?

I Love My Thoughts

Photo by Steve Halama on Unsplash

I love their variety…

I love thoughts I think while sleeping, which creates grandiose dreams, dazzling in their plenitude and vividness…

I love knowing they come to me according to my vibration…

Meaning the better-feeling my thoughts the higher my vibration must be.

I like when thoughts I think while sleeping indicate where I am relative to fulfilling desires…

I love feeling how good my thoughts feel…

I love how they bring smiles to my face. Like eating a fresh hot bowl of buttered popcorn.

I delight in my thoughts.

And because my thoughts create my reality, I know my life experience is unfolding right along the path packed with my fulfilled desires.

All Desires Happen, Instantly

Q: Does the universe recognize that you’re manifesting from the beginning or does it take awhile to recognize that you’re manifesting?

Answer: There is no “beginning” and yes Universe knows. You are an integral part of Universe. Both your desires and your consciousness make up what “Universe” is.

The moment your desire comes into your awareness, Universe already has “created” it. All the resources, all the cooperative players…everything needed assembles instantly.

What “takes a while” is you. This is why “manifesting” happens after an apparent delay. Most people don’t immediately match their manifesting desire. What’s more, a “buffer” exists between immediate, nonphysical desire manifestation and ultimate, fulfilled physical manifestation. That’s helpful because everything you want manifesting instantly would create chaotic physical reality. The buffer allows room for refinement of your desire(s).

So the buffer and the time it takes for the desire-er to match her desire is what creates “time” between the desire and the desire’s fulfillment.

The good news is, most of this happens on autopilot. What’s variable is how soon you line up with your desire. That’s totally in your control. And, with practice you get better and better at it.

Have fun with it. There’s nothing serious happening.

You’re Ready

“I hate humanity.”

“You’re human tho.”

“I hate humanity.”

“But you are humanity.”

“I hate humanity.”

“You are humanity.”

“I hate humanity.”

“Humanity is what you are.”

“Then…I hate me.”

“Ah…Now you’re ready”

“Ready for what?”

“Ready to change the world.”

Living Proof Of Universal Blessedness

Photo by James Coleman on Unsplash

An editor working with me on an anthology essay I wrote wanted a better headline. The original didn’t pop, she said.

Knowing what I know, I set my intention so Universe would do the work. In some life areas though, old habits are just that: moments later, I scribbled several ideas on my note app, trying to coax Universe into giving me some ideas:

Essay Titles I created while “efforting”. Ugh they suck!

That’s the hard way. And it felt hard. So I wrote back to my editor. I told her I’d get back to her. Take some time, She wrote back.

Days later, I Pre-Paved a future probable reality wherein I’d receive what I asked for: a wonderful headline, one my editor would love. One that would pop.

A couple days after that, I re-read my essay. It’s so good. It’s a true story about an adventure a Transamorous Network client and I experienced. While reading it “Life IS Joy” popped out of the essay. I sent that to my editor, even though I didn’t like it all that much.

My feeble attempt. 😂

That not liking all that much was a clue…

My editor didn’t like it either. She suggested something catchier, something with a play on words:

Not so good response…

Nothing came up when I focused, so I just let go. I figured my Personal Trinity would bring me a perfect headline.

That’s what happened

Last night I watched a favorite James Bond movie for the umpteenth time. A Quantum of Solace it’s called. I enjoyed watching it. I enjoy the luxury Bond enjoys surrounding himself in. People in the movie are pleasant to watch too. 😊

Then I went to bed, blissful in positive focus.

The next morning (the day I’m writing this), the phrase “A Universal Solace” came to mind. My immediate reaction was: hey that’s kinda good. Then I poo-pooed it as too obvious a play on “Quantum of Solace”.

But then I thought “wait a minute! This is what I asked for!”

Tentatively, I looked up the word “Solace”. It perfectly fit what happens in the essay. My Personal Trinity scored a direct hit!

I sent it to my editor. Here’s what she said.

Booyaaah!

I created a future probable reality, then let my Personal Trinity handle the rest. I noticed how hard it was trying to do what I wanted through action alone. I trusted my feelings instead. Look what happened!

What happened next: even better

Weeks ago I got an impulse that my essay could become a full-length book and/or a movie. I wanted to send my editor a note about that, but held off.

After getting her email above, I sent her two more emails, one replying to her acknowledging the new headline:

and another offering to work together on more projects:

Here’s what she wrote back:

Universe stands ready to do the work for you.

I marvel at this because I love writing. I always have. I love telling stories through various ways; through illustrations, film/video, through speeches and presentations and of course through words.

My life as a story is worthy of being told. And here is my editor urging me in this direction, just as an angel of the Universe would.

This path unfolding before me, filled with so much of what I’m wanting, feels ecstatic. All of it is unfolding aligned with talents and passions I already have, not something I learned in school, but something inherently me.

It’s all coming from my inner knowing, tied to my authentic self. I tell my clients their authenticity is from where their prosperity and joy emerges. My life offers living proof. Universe loves me.

It loves you too.

How to find what’s lost, easily

Yesterday, while preparing for a walk, I thought about my fleece gloves. I have a lot of gloves, hats, scarves…I like bundling up when nature cools its jets come autumn time.

What I thought while pulling on still-damp, waterproof gloves I wore in the rain the day before was “The weather’s cooling, my fleece gloves would be perfect for a day like today.”

I had no idea where they were though. I knew they weren’t in the basket in which I keep my gloves. I reorganized my basket last month and didn’t see them.

The basket where I keep my winter bundling things.

After my walk I helped my landlord remove cushioning from under my bedroom’s jute floor covering. Removing the cushioning required lifting the bed and its under-bed slider drawer.

I carried the drawer to the living room by maneuvering around April, the landlord’s dog, who found her perfect seating spot…in the way.

Avoiding April required shifting the drawer in my hands so I could pass through the doorway and keep my eye on her. As I shifted, my fleece gloves spilled out. Fulfilled desire!

I know little manifestations indicate larger ones on the way

Creation happens easily and fast so long as I create the right way and do it resistance-free. Whether it’s a little manifestation, like discovering my gloves, or a big one, such as manifesting financial abundance, creation needn’t take a long time. But it does when my ask includes resistance or if I ask sloppily.

Thoughts like “I’ve lost my gloves”, or “I want my fleece gloves…but I don’t know where they are,” or “Where are my gloves?” say “I want to have an experience where I can’t find my gloves.” That’s sloppy asking.

Asking such questions creates lost-glove realities.

This happened with my house key recently. It’s funny because my Inner Being perceived a probable reality near me featuring my “lost” key. So it told me after my walk one day: “put your key back where you always put it”.

I’m practicing immediately following my impulses. This time I didn’t do that tho. 😂🙄🙁

Days later, I needed my key. I looked in its usual spot: nothing. “Where is my key?” That was my knee-jerk reaction, but it also instantly created its “real” counterpart.

I felt my Inner Being urge more deliberate thoughts, but too late: the probable future reality arrived, featuring my absent key.

I looked high and low. I checked every pants pocket, including the pants I wore the other day. I looked in the dirty clothes hamper, under the couch, in my drawers…I tried remembering when I had it last. Still…no key.

My next thought: “I can’t find my key!” clinched the creation. My key was lost. More accurate: I created a reality consistent with my persistent thoughts.

Funny thing is, I felt that momentum build, I “saw” the belief “I can’t find my key” in my Moment of Becoming drawing circumstances consistent with it. I even remembered my Inner Being telling me to put my key were I usually do.

It was trippy seeing that creation creating itself right out of my thoughts. I lost my house key because I declared it so. My landlord made a replacement.

Notice the difference in thinking

“The weather’s cooling, my fleece gloves would be perfect for a day like today” carries different energies than “Where is my key?”

The first feels like an affirmation. It leads to an outcome, a reality, wherein I wear my gloves. The question leads to an outcome where I’m looking for my key.

In less than 24 hours I had my gloves without trying to find them. In other words, with no effort. I still don’t have my (original) key. 🤷🏽‍♂️

My fleece gloves manifested in response to my gentle asking.

Creation feels both ways. Both illustrate how it works. The glove example and the key example show how effortless it is. So effortless, if feels like I’m not doing it. But I am!

Losing my key, in the context of receiving my gloves, offered fantastic lessons in fine-tuned, deliberate creation. I enjoy creating deliberately. I don’t like creating sloppily.

This is why I say there are no negative experiences in living a Charmed Life. Living Positively Focused, I see life through the eyes and mind of God. From there, all experiences are positive because they all create greater awareness.

I believe thinking and speaking in this subtle, refined way creates outstanding opportunity. It allows everything into my life through easy, flowing rhythms, it creates favorable circumstances where little things and big things both find their way to me.

I want more experiences like this, where I get what I want easily, not through effort, but because I speak it that way.

This Mindset Changes Worlds

I Hold it lightly.

The more I complain about the Present Moment while trying to change it, the more I energize what is, thereby keeping it in place. I give it more sticking power.

The same is true with trying to make something—presumably new and better than what is—happen.  The harder I try, the more I energize the absence of the change I want to see. “The absence of the change I want to see” is the Present Moment, the “what is now” which doesn’t include what I want.

So the harder I try, the more the Present Moment recreates itself in my next now, and the next, and the next.

So profound is this secret, it is core to all master-level pursuits:

Photo by Hanson Lu on Unsplash

Auto racing: Indy car drivers are taught that if their car is out of control and they’re careening toward a wall, they should look in the direction they want to go, not the direction they’re going.  From an edmunds.com article on advanced driving [Bracket statements added for clarity]:

“Avoiding accidents: Racing drivers know that if a car spins out in front of them [what is], it’s best to keep looking at where you want to go [what one wants], not at the car in front of you or even in the direction in which the car is already going [that’s momentum]. When you look in the right direction [look at what you want], the car goes in the right direction, a reminder of the way in which vision [desire] and car control [manifestation] are inextricably intertwined.”

Master-level martial arts: Every master-level martial artist knows resisting an attackers attack energizes the attack, making it more effective. The more you redirect attacker-energy in your favor, i.e. not resisting the attack, but flowing with it, the more powerful you become. Nearly all martial arts emphasize mastering this skill.

Personal survival: Riptides are dangerous. What makes them doubly so is if you try to fight your way out of it once you get caught in one. Swim against the force pulling you out and you’ll likely drown from exhaustion. I love this description from the website Art of Manliness:

Don’t try to swim against the rip. Deaths that result from riptides aren’t caused by the current pulling someone under; instead, the person typically panics, starts trying to swim against the rip to get back to shore, becomes exhausted, and drowns. An 8-feet-per-second riptide is so strong that not even Michael Phelps, even when he had that amazing mustache, could swim against it. Don’t kick against the pricks. Swim parallel to the shore. Instead of swimming against the rip current, you want to swim perpendicular to it, in either direction. Rip currents are typically only 20-100 feet wide. Once you leave the rip, swim at an angle away from it towards the shore. Go with the flow. If you don’t have the swimming skills or energy to swim out of the rip, float on your back and go with the current. Just imagine you’re taking a spin on the Lazy River at the water park you went to as a kid. Once the rip current dissipates, you can do the parallel swim thing or try to signal to the lifeguard or someone else that you’re in need of help.

See that part about “go with the flow”?  Exactly.

So what does all this mean regarding creating my Charmed Life?  Good question.  And here’s where the secret waits patiently for discovery:  Hold it lightly, my friends.

Here’s how I do it:

  1. I pay no attention to the world around me if I feel resistance about it.  What is, is what’s becoming.  Focusing on what is only gives me more of that.  Instead, I pay attention to the world I prefer seeing.  When I do, I feel lighter, as I let go of stress I carry around being frustrated and angry about what I see on tv, read online or in print, or hear from well meaning friends.
  2. I Create in my mind what I would prefer to have that would replace what is. I don’t worry about details.  Instead I think about how that new world feels. Fun?  Pleasurable?  Interesting?  Adventurous?  Exciting?  Then I hold this feeling as long as I can as often as I can throughout the week.
  3. I hold lightly to those feelings, let them generate momentum.  I’m light and easy about all this.  I play around with the vision I created in the previous step.  I let go of any thoughts of “making it happen” or “doing something in the world” that will lead to this vision.  My holding onto this vision is more powerful than action because in the Moment of Becoming, what I want already has sufficient momentum to fulfill itself.
  4. I’m open to inspiration.  Successful with the above steps, I receive impulses that compel action.  I follow that.  See where it leads.
  5. I do less, play more.  I replace all that time I spend reading, talking, and thinking about what is with time spent having fun.  I follow my passions, pursue a fun hobby, develop a new skill, meet new people, go out on walks—whatever is fun.  These periods allow my mind and the Universe to collaborate, to create opportunities for me to discover pathways to the world I envisioned in step two.

These five steps contain the power of creation.  In a little time I found not only pathways leading me to opportunities, people, events, and ideas that support creating the world I want to see, my life now is more fun, easier and lighter.

When all is said and done, what I want is that last part. I want my life to be fun, easy and light.  Truth is, I can have that now, without anything changing in the world around me.  But it is oh so much fun creating new realities, then seeing them come true.
