TL;DR: The author revisits a vivid, real-world manifestation—finding $40 on a walk—and as a followup explores how we each create our own separate vibrational reality, even when walking side by side with others. A practical spiritual reminder.
Yesterday, something delightful happened that keeps revealing deeper truths. If you read my previous post, you know about the $40 that appeared at the perfect time—two crisp $20 bills lying on the pavement in plain sight, discovered on an evening walk with a friend.
That story alone is a testament to how intimately the Universe responds to our vibration. I had just soothed old scarcity stories that surfaced after conversations with clients—one heading into surgery, the other going on vacation—and I’d aligned with abundance. I had a desire: to get some cash for berry picking at a local farm, without paying an ATM fee. And within hours, the Universe delivered.
But what happened next was even more powerful.
Same Walk, Different Worlds
The friend I walked with—Raziah—was right beside me when that money manifestation happened. She was actually closer to the cash than I was. I had to step behind her to pick it up. It was sitting there, in plain view. And yet, she didn’t see it.
She wouldn’t have even known it was there if I hadn’t said, “Hold up, I need a moment.” When I turned around and showed her the bills, she was surprised. Not just because of the money, but because of how obvious it was. That had me wonder: how many others had walked by without noticing it?
That’s when it hit me—this experience wasn’t our manifestation. It was mine. It had nothing to do with her. She was present for it, yes. But it wasn’t part of her vibrational trajectory. It was mine alone.
The Universe placed that money in my path. Not metaphorically. Literally. That’s why she didn’t see the money until I showed it to her.
Everyone Lives in Their Own Reality
This is one of the most beautiful paradoxes of physical reality: even when we share time and space with others—on a walk, in a conversation, even in intimate relationships—we are each living entirely separate vibrational realities.
Raziah didn’t see the money because it wasn’t for her. It didn’t exist in her field of awareness until I brought it into view. Until that moment, those bills might as well have been invisible in her world. And that’s not some woo-woo metaphor. That’s real. That’s physics—vibrational physics.
Our individual reality can contain anything we imagine.
It’s also what so many of my clients wrestle with in the early stages of the Positively Focused practice. They understand, conceptually, that they create their reality. But then they look around and see things they don’t like—war, politics, economic uncertainty—and they think: “How can this be my creation?” The answer is always: “You tuned to it.”
And if they keep tuning to it, life obliges. Just like it did for me when I was immersed in outrage culture a decade ago. Like it did for my friend Mark, who sees only a Portland full of decay and danger. Just like it did for me, briefly, when I dipped into his vibrational lens and momentarily forgot the future I’ve already aligned with.
Your World = Your Signal
What happened with the $40 was a masterclass reminder: no one else is in our reality but each of us. That doesn’t mean other people don’t exist. It means our version of them, our version of reality, is a vibrational echo of our own signal.
So many people struggle with this because they think manifestation has to be huge, dramatic, and public to count. But often, the most personal, powerful manifestations are quiet. Subtle. Hidden in plain sight—until we tune to them.
That’s why I love the Positively Focused path. It doesn’t promise fireworks (though those come too). It promises alignment. Clarity. And experiences that feel magical… because they are. They’re vibrational magic made real.
We don’t need others to validate our reality. Nor do we need proof in the form of mass agreement that the manifestation happened. We just need to tune our signal. Then, the Universe meets us there—with money on the pavement, a berry-picking trip paid for in advance, and a reminder that we are always supported.
TL;DR: The author shares a stunning true story of a client who fired her employee—only to receive a $10K contract hours later. A real-life illustration of how vibrational alignment trumps effort every time. This is Part 1 of an astounding 3-Part story.
There’s something extraordinary that happens when we stop seeing life as a linear chain of cause and effect, and start recognizing it as a living mirror of our vibrational state. That’s what the Positively Focused practice is all about—tuning your inner alignment so well that even what others call “negative experiences” turn out to be springboards into exactly what you’re wanting.
This three-part story is a powerful example. This is part one.
It involves two clients of mine—let’s call them Jane and Sally—whose lives intersected professionally. Jane employed Sally. But over time, their work relationship became strained. Jane had developed a dominant story: Sally wasn’t adding value. She believed it so thoroughly that she began telling everyone around her that Sally wasn’t producing anything meaningful. Eventually, Jane reached what she called the “last straw.”
She decided she was going to fire Sally. But the truth was: Sally had been doing great work—far beyond what was asked of her. Jane simply couldn’t see it.
When Stories Become Reality (and Blind Us to What’s True)
The Positively Focused perspective reminds us: your beliefs filter your world. Jane’s belief that Sally didn’t contribute value was so active, it completely blocked her ability to see the value right in front of her.
Sally had completed a task that Jane assigned—breaking up blog content for social media. Not only that, she also built, from scratch, a custom database using ChatGPT to organize and manage that content. But when Jane saw the database—because it had no content in it yet—she concluded Sally wasted her time. The truth was, Sally had the content ready. She just hadn’t loaded it in yet. Sally showed Jane the content, but Jane ignored what Sally presented.
Jane literally did not see what Sally had done…because her vibration wouldn’t allow it.
Firing Sally was the natural next step given Jane’s and Sally’s belief momentum.
This is not a failure of observation—it’s a demonstration of how powerfully our inner reality determines what we perceive outside us. Our persistent stories don’t just color the world; they shape it. They blind us to evidence that contradicts them. Jane wasn’t wrong in a moral sense. She was just vibrationally tuned to a version of Sally that matched her expectation.
This is how creation works.
The Universe Orchestrates More Than We Know
As this was unfolding, something else happened: a customer Jane had long disliked—due to their poor communication, arriving late to meetings, and overly wordy updates—suddenly died. The passing shocked Jane. But this loss created a vacuum in that customer’s organization.
A new interim CEO stepped in. She immediately emailed Jane, asking if Jane would be open to amending their contract—expanding it from a small $300 contract…to a $10,000 one.
Yes. From $300 to $10,000.
This is a client Jane had barely done any work for. But Jane had previously told me she wanted a second $10,000 client. The first one, a dental client, was already active. Now, out of what looked like tragedy and workplace drama, the Universe delivered the second.
Jane didn’t have to do anything for it. It came through alignment. That’s not the end of this story however. It’s just the beginning. But let’s pause here, because this is where many people miss the magic.
They think that Jane got lucky. That a door closed and another opened. That “one person died, another got fired, and everything worked out in the end.” But that’s not what happened.
What actually happened is this: the Universe perfectly matched everyone involved with the experiences they were aligned with—and in doing so, set up the next chapter of each person’s expansion. And they all won. Jane got her second $10,000 client. Sally, as you’ll see in Part 2, got something even more valuable than a job. And I, as their guide, got the supreme joy of watching divine timing play out in real time.
TL;DR: The author offers a life example proving his mastery of a key skill for creating reality through thought alone. Their experience as well as their clients’ experiences, they say, show how processes they advocate for can create the best life possible.
An enjoyable manifestation involving another person totally turned me on recently. It happened about two weeks ago. What happened proves I’m on the way to great financial fortune.
It’s proof because the only thing standing between us and having a lot of money is our beliefs. After all, a lot of people enjoy wealth. And though it seems many of those people became wealthy by the working hard, nose-to-the-grindstone approach, many others got their wealth easily.
They won it in a lottery, or through gambling. Or they inherited it. Maybe they invested in the right market opportunity at the perfect time. Or, they happened to take a job with stock options, where those stock options gained immense value over time.
The point is, while most would argue it takes hard work to make a lot of money, something other than hard work is responsible for that result. So many are doing it in different ways, with some making a lot of money with no effort, the common denominator certainly can’t be “hard work”.
Of course, I know that common denominator is vibrational focus. We create our reality. And what people call “wishful thinking” is what lines people up with lots of money. Nothing else is more important.
That’s why it’s so important people understand this. For there are lots of people working hard and making hardly ANY money let alone lots of it.
Today, I’m writing about a key skill needed to create lots of money. Let’s take a look at that skill. But first, a little more background.
It’s simple, but not easy
When I write “lining up” I’m referring to specific processes which make a person a match to lots of money. They’re the same processes for making one’s self a match to anything. Whether it’s relationships, opportunity or money, the processes are all about tuning one’s vibration to the frequency that attracts what it is one wants in their experience.
These processes are simple, but their purpose – soothing resistance – is not easy. It’s not easy because soothing resistance means stopping vibrational momentum that’s matching us to conditions we don’t want, or that are incompatible with what we do want.
It’s momentum that catalyzes vibration into physical reality. Momentum is, therefore, powerful. Once it gets underway, stopping it is impossible. Continued focus will always amplify the momentum until that which is focused on becomes real. Even if we try to not focus on it, by virtue of defining what we’re doing by the momentum “not focus on the momentum” we are focusing on it and thus amplifying it. Same goes with resisting momentum. It’s why the phrase “what you resist, persists” exists. Any focus on momentum amplifies it.
That’s why we’re not really talking about stopping momentum but soothing it.
We soothe it by focusing on something other than the momentum we’ve created. And that’s not always easy. Especially if we have a lot of momentum, which all of us do on some subjects. That’s why we’re surrounded by a physical reality. It’s momentum making thoughts “real”.

Belief confrontations and their benefit
When we soothe momentum, life will show us where we have beliefs and their associated momentum in other areas, areas we also must soothe. That’s right, just because we start soothing our beliefs about money doesn’t mean we’re making progress, even though we are. We must also soothe all the other beliefs contributing to momentum which blocks money from coming.
For example, a black person in the United States likely has beliefs which block their being a match to lots of money. Believing in racism, for example, does that. So does, believe it or not, believing in “Black Lives Matter.” I’ll write a post one day about black people and resistance. But for now, know that any belief which causes us to believe something outside of us has more power than we do will keep us from being a match to what we want, including lots of money.
And by lots of money I mean Fuck You money. I mean hundreds of millions to billions of dollars.
Now, if you’re like some folks, the idea called “billionaire” makes them squirm. And that’s because when they think about such people, they experience belief confrontations. Belief confrontations happen when a person has very strong beliefs and life throws at them experiences at odds with that momentum. The juxtaposition of those two — the experience and the belief — is what has the person say things like “there should be no billionaires” or “kill billionaires”. It’s what moves people to spray paint billionaire-owned corporate jets and super yachts.
Their belief confrontations are so strong they’re moved to action. But that action is insignificant in the extreme. Especially with regard to the billionaire. Those people’s lives are hardly scratched by such actions. Such actions do, however, amplify momentum in the actors thus making them even less a match to that much money.
Desires are there to be fulfilled
This explains why life throws our way experiences that can seem “out of the blue”. They’re actually “in” the blue. It’s life showing us what stands between us and what we want: our beliefs that aren’t matches to our desires.
We all have desires. Many of our biggest ones we kick to the curb in our desperation to feel good. We can’t enjoy life if we have desires we believe we can’t fulfill.
For example, a lot of people will say they don’t want millions of dollars. They’ll point to disadvantages of having all that money. Or they’ll talk about the immorality of that much money. But many of those people also play the lottery. It’s my guess that if someone offered them millions of dollars with no strings attached, they’d accept the offer!
But their beliefs running counter to having that happen are so strong and the belief confrontation so uncomfortable, rather than soothing their resistance, they instead, make their desire immoral, or wrong or they justify not having their desire as a virtue.
But all desires are born within us to be fulfilled! The only thing standing between us and fulfilled versions of our desires are our beliefs. That’s why the Universe reflects our beliefs back to us: so we can do something about them and become matches to our desires.
Which brings me elegantly back to what happened and the key skill needed to actualize creating huge amounts of money from nothing but desire.
A marvelous rendezvous
Whenever I get a new client, I take myself out as a celebration of that client. Two weeks ago, I took myself to breakfast. Prior to heading out, I pre-paved the outing, meaning, I set an intention in a specific way so that I amplified the probable future I desired over all other probable futures.
I arrived at the restaurant, but there was a long line. No matter, I planned to eat at the bar, so I got a seat immediately. To my right, two stools over, sat a woman. She was near-finished with her breakfast.
I ordered and the woman to my right asked how I was.
“Fabulous!” I said.
“Great!” She said.
“Are you saying it’s great I’m fabulous,” I asked. “Or is your day going great?”
“Both!” She laughed.
That began a two hour conversation that extended to a day-long friends date the next day, then lunch the day after.
But I’m getting ahead of myself.
It so happens Sarah is a “dream worker”. She works with people to help them better interpret their dreams. Our conversation, which was MARVELOUS, was about all kinds of things we had in common. Particularly our understanding of how the Universe works.
Responding to my reflection
At one point, while still at the breakfast place, I told Sarah that even though I love working with my clients, I would prefer to have all my days totally free. And so I was intending to create a life where I enjoy freedom from trading time for money.
She thought a moment, started to say something then paused, which I appreciated because I knew she knew she was talking to someone who needs no guidance. Her doing that was remarkable. It showed she possessed an awareness few have. I enjoyed seeing that in her.
Then she said “I know you know this, but you could create a reality where all the things you need are covered, like your rent and food, are just taken care of for you. Why do you need to focus on money?”
No desire is bad or wrong, including a desire for money. (Photo by Rob on Unsplash)
When she asked that question, I thought for just a moment about whether to share what I was feeling at that moment. Like Sarah, I’m quite aware what’s happening in me at any given moment. At that moment, I wondered what will happen when I share what I was about to.
So I said “I appreciate you saying that because right this moment you are the Universe reflecting back to me that I still have resistance about money in my vibration. It’s very subtle, but it’s obviously still there and I know this because you said what you said.”
See what I did there?
It’s all reflection
I could have resisted her expression. I could have responded by defending my desire. But I didn’t.
Instead, responding this way when someone says something to us is critical as we line up with what we’re wanting. Especially if what we want is present in our awareness at the moment the person’s speaking. My clients struggle with this, so I don’t expect you, dear reader, to get it either: everyone in our experience are reflections of our beliefs. Beliefs about all kinds of subjects. Other people are not actually in our reality. What we interact with are versions of those people, versions of those people we hold in ourselves, constructed by our beliefs about that person.
So when those people speak to us, how they say what they say and what they say are reflecting back to us our own beliefs. This is always the case, but some cases are more obvious than others. With practice, this idea that people in our experience are not real becomes obvious. And even though my clients struggle with this, they are proving to themselves how accurate this is.
Here’s why this is important: We can’t line up if we’re oblivious about beliefs we have blocking what we want. And if we react to the universe showing us what those beliefs are, by getting defensive or otherwise not acknowledging what’s happening, then we just delay our lining up. Resisting the reflection adds more resistance!
The Universe loves me
Recognizing what physical reality is telling us as a reflection therefore is a crucial skill. So is responding correctly when it does that. In this case the Universe was telling me through Sarah I still have resistance on the subject of money. Her words were exactly as I saw them: reflections of my thoughts. So I went with the reflection and expressed appreciation.
When I did, Sarah gave me a big smile and said “I love you so much!” The words burst out of her as though she was not expecting to say that. I know that expression wasn’t about her actually loving me. Instead, she was acknowledging, as an emissary of the Universe, that my statement was so unconventional but totally in alignment with what she and I and the Universe know about how the Universe works. Her reflex to say she loved me was another reflection of my thoughts: my Broader Perspective appreciating that I have mastered this crucial skill.
So we don’t need to be in the dark about what’s happening with our vibration. If we’re tuned in, we can see all kinds of indicators showing us where we are vis-a-vis our desires. They show up in how animals respond to us. People reflect it back to us. Events also reveal to us what’s happening in us.
All the while the Universe lovingly guides us towards greater and greater alignment. For many, that can take lifetimes. But for some, it can happen in a single lifetime.
The charmed life unfolds
After that mystical exchange, I thought to myself how appreciative I was to be able to do what I’m able to do. I’ve significantly soothed a lot of negative thoughts and beliefs I once had about money. And I’m enjoying faster and faster momentum growing within me telling me I’m on the way to the large amount of money I’ve already created.
That’s right, I’ve already created it. That pile of money assembles even as I write this, even as I continue lining up with it, so that, in divine timing, I will rendezvous with it, it with me and in that joyous rendezvous come into the fullness of that manifestation.
This trajectory started with me soothing a lot of beliefs I once had about “new age mumbo jumbo”. It’s true: I once had one foot in two different camps. One camp wanted to believe this “you create your reality business” was real. The other camp totally disbelieved all of it.
These days, however, I’ve created so much evidence that this business is real. And I’ve amplified my belief into knowing by writing about it here in this blog, following the processes I wrote about in the beginning of this story, and creating an income for myself through sharing what I know with clients. Those clients came to me in surprising and delightful ways. Just like everything else I’ve manifested up to now.
Indeed, I’ve mastered the process of deliberate creation. Skills needed to create anything I desire, including large amounts of money from nothing but thought are now mine. As a result, I’ve discovered a rare form of freedom.
Freedom as the basis for the life of my dreams. The Charmed Life.
